Joshua Sturtevant is a Program Manager for The Financial Literacy Group. In that role he provides support on a variety of projects for the firm. He has been involved with business planning, project management and research efforts since he joined the team in early 2010.
Mr. Sturtevant brings to his work a broad range of financial experience. He has spent time working both in personal finance as well as on Wall Street as a capital markets analyst. He first began to understand the importance of financial literacy while working initially as a stock broker trainee, then as a retirement investment specialist after completing his undergraduate degree. In those positions, he was able to witness first-hand the unfortunate lack of financial education among his clients, who ranged from those who had just recently joined the workforce to retirees.
Mr. Sturtevant holds a B.A. in economics from The University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He is currently completing his JD and is expected to receive his diploma from The George Washington University Law School in the summer of 2011.
